I will accompany you to the location of your choice and facilitate a spiritual experience for you and your guests.
With music, poetry, or your personal heartfelt words, you can be involved in crafting a ceremony that will express your heart and soul. The party is a gift you give your friends and family, but most importantly, the ceremony is the gift you give yourselves. Let me help you make your wedding truly meaningful and memorable.
My philosophy is that there are many authentic spiritual paths. My spiritual path is contemporary Judaism. I specialize in creative rituals and reaching out to people who would like to learn more about Jewish culture. Jewish ways of "doing and being" are enriching and joyful. I can give you the tools to begin your Jewish spiritual path and to navigate the Jewish community. The door to Judaism is open to all who seek its wonders and richness.
I was ordained as a Reform rabbi in 1991 at the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion. I also earned my bachelor's degree in Jewish studies from UCLA and my master's degree in Hebrew language and literature from HUC-JIR. A native of Los Angeles, I have also experienced life in Boston, Cincinnati, Australia, and Israel. My husband and I have two wonderful children. I speak Hebrew and American Sign Language. Some of my personal interests include folk dancing, knitting, scrapbooking and photography, working crossword puzzles, eating good food, drinking good wine, viewing beautiful art, and reading great books. I enjoy meeting new people, listening to their stories, and sharing in special life moments. I am eager to hear your story and help you celebrate the joyous life event of your wedding day.
